This study aims to enhance understanding of direct financing models for EbA involving the private sector in the context of the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) and the critical factors that underpin them. The purpose is to help foster additional private sector involvement and direct financing of future EbA initiatives, as a way to help bridge the growing adaptation (funding) gap. While the study mainly focuses on experiences in Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand, it draws conclusions and recommendations that are likely to be applicable across the GMS.
