The GEF-funded project ‘Ecosystem-based Adaptation through South-South Cooperation’ (EbA South), implemented by UN Environment and executed by the National Development and Reform Commission of China (NDRC), is launching a call for tender for the development and implementation of a comprehensive training programme on Ecosystem-based Adaptation in mountain areas. The training programme shall be held in Nepal in the second half of 2017 and comprise, at a minimum:
a two-day national training workshop, with a minimum of 40 participants, targeting relevant government officials, scientists and NGOs;
a three-day train-the-trainer workshop, with a minimum of 20 participants; and
the delivery of training materials and comprehensive workshop reports.

EbA South invites any Nepal-based legal persons (i.e. public bodies, private commercial, or non-commercial organizations, including NGOs) to submit a detailed proposal and a quote for the provision of the above-described services. Evidence of experience in undertaking such activities should also be provided.
