The EbA South Project Team Meeting was organized during 23 to 25 October 2017 in Hangzhou, China, with the China Academy for Rural Development, Zhejiang University, cordially co-hosting the meeting.
The meeting gathered 14 participants, including representatives from the project pilot countries (namely Seychelles, Mauritania and Nepal), Project Task Manager, Project Senior Advisor, Chief Technical Advisor and technical advisor team, International Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist and the Project Management Unit. With the project’s remaining period until end of March 2018, the meeting primarily focused on assessing progress under each project component especially EbA pilot interventions as well as project indicators and targets. The project’s Terminal Evaluation was also discussed for preparation of the whole team.
Though interactive group discussions, clear work plans for each pilot country was agreed upon for the project’s short time remaining.
In addition, a visit to the Xixi National Wetland Park, exhibiting wetland ecological protection and ecological tourism, was organized at the end of the meeting.
