UNFCCC - Call for submission in the area of ecosystems, interrelated areas such as water resources, and adaptation

In response to the invitation of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) at its 44th session, the Nairobi work programme on impacts, vulnerability and adaptation (UNFCCC/NWP) has opened a call for submission in the area of ecosystems, interrelated areas such as water resources, and adaptation, on the following topics:

1. Lessons learned and good practices on adaptation planning processes addressing ecosystems and interrelated areas such as water resources;
2. Lessons learned and good practices in monitoring and evaluating the implementation of ecosystem-based adaptation;
3. Tools for assessing the benefits of mitigation and adaptation to enhancing resilience and emissions reductions that ecosystem-based adaptation provides. 

Parties, NWP partner organizations and other relevant organizations are invited to contribute relevant information before January 25, 2017. Organizations are invited to send their submissions to secretariat@unfccc.int and nwp@unfccc.int. The call for submissions is also available on the UNFCCC website.
