Ecosystem-based Adaptation through South-South Cooperation is a GEF-funded project implemented by UNEP and executed by the National Development and Reform Commission of China (NDRC), through the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGSNRR, CAS).

The UNEP - International Ecosystem Management Partnership (UNEP-IEMP), a UNEP- collaborating center based in China, provides project management services.

Partner institutions in the project's three pilot countries are the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change of Seychelles, the Ministry of Population and Environment of Nepal and the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of Mauritania.

At the interregional level, EbA South is supported with in-kind co-financing from a number of networks, projects and programmes, including the African Climate Policy Centre (ACPC) and the Global Adaptation Network (GAN).
