About the webinar
Ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA) can provide multiple livelihoods and social and environmental benefits in addition to its primary objective of adapting to climate change. Therefore, it is important to understand where EbA is working, why and how. Although, there are cases that show evidence of the effectiveness of EbA, these benefits often may be difficult to quantify.
In fact, they are often not considered when comparing EbA with other adaptation approaches using gray infrastructure. So the lessons learned and evidence of the effectiveness of the EbA is necessary to inform decision makers and strengthen the role of this approach in adaptation policies and strategies. The main objective of the webinar is to discuss how to strengthen such evidence and promote tools that support better integration of EbA principles into policies and planning.
