Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA Kathmandu-II) Conference on March 1, 2021

The Resources Himalaya Foundation (RHF); Central Department of Environment Science, Tribhuvan University (CDES-TU); and Faculty of Science, Health, and Technology-Nepal Open University (FSHT-NOU) are organizing the Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA Kathmandu-II) Conference on March 1, 2021 as a virtual event. Participation is free of charge.

 

Overall aim:

The conference aims to share knowledge and lessons learnt among researchers, managers, and practitioners worldwide that can contribute to mainstream EbA intervention in policy and plans.

 

Themes:

  • Mountain and forest ecosystems
  • Agricultural ecosystem
  • River and wetland ecosystems
  • Urban ecosystem

 

Participants:

The conference is open for all the interested young researchers worldwide. It will also invite representatives from national and international organizations and stakeholders working in EbA. Guest speakers/key participants including policy and decision-makers, planners, and practitioners are expected at the conference.

  • Call for application: January 17, 2021
  • Abstract submission deadline: February 7, 2021
  • Selection notification: February 12, 2021
  • Registration: February 15, 2021
  • Conference date: March 1, 2021
