Between Tradition and Increasing Challenges: Future Development of Small-scale and Community Forestry in Times of Global Change
The conference will bring together researchers from all over the world to share evidence-based knowledge on small-scale and community forestry issues in Latin America, including the ecological, institutional and anthropogenic factors influencing the management and evolution of forests and forest landscapes. As
traditional knowledge plays a substantial role in both small-scale and community forest ownership models, the integration of a historical dimension will provide an additional source of information in order to interpret and understand the challenges and constraints related to global change.
