The South-South Knowledge Exchange Workshop on Ecosystem-based Adaptation, as the Ecosystem-based Adaptation through South-South Cooperation (EbA South) project closure workshop will be organised on 21-22 May 2019 in Beijing, China. This two-day workshop has the objectives of presenting key results of the EbA South project under all components (interregional and in 3 pilot countries) and discussing beyond EbA South the opportunities for continuation and upscaling of successful activities. Please find the tentative workshop programme enclosed.

The global project EbA South is funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), implemented by UN Environment Programme and executed by the National Development and Reform Commission of China, through the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. During the past 6 years, EbA South helped to build climate resilience in developing countries by increasing institutional capacity, mobilizing knowledge and transferring appropriate EbA technologies to 3 pilot countries: Mauritania, Nepal and Seychelles. The workshop will provide an opportunity for dialogue and mutual learning between ecosystem management and climate change adaptation actors, not only within EbA South but also other key stakeholders from the EbA community worldwide.

If you are interested, kindly register by Monday 13 May 2019.
